Downstairs rooms have semi-private lanai style patios with a table and chairs while the upstairs suites command views of the garden and Avalon harbor beyond. All rooms are upscale yet casual and are well appointed with a flat panel television, complementary high-speed internet access and amazingly comfortable beds.

Skirting the beach along Avalon harbor, Crescent Street is a pedestrian-only brick paved road through the downtown area lined with shops and restaurants. It faces the marina and Green Pleasure Pier where one may go fishing, rent scuba gear, board a glass-bottomed boat or climb aboard the World War One-era Blanche W for a nighttime cruise to watch flying fish leap from the water.
