Victor Vargas
Editor in Chief
Since 1994, Victor Vargas has been masterminding fashion, celebrity and cover sittings for some of the world's most prestigious publications, working with such stars as Milla Jovovich, Iman, Isabella Rossellini, Carmen Electra and Ryan Reynolds. He has been creating editorial and advertising images with an eclectic mix of photographers on a wide range of projects from a Courvoisier Campaign with Karina Taira, an Eli Lilly campaign with Hollywood legend Julie Andrews and photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders to styling all of the Editors in Chief at Hearst Publications.
With a natural talent and eye for polished looks, Victor has worked alongside fashion's elite for the last 15 years, including such entities as the art world's Tina Barney. The assignment was a double page spread commissioned by VOGUE HOMME'S Richard Buckley. His career as fashion editor and stylist reads like a "Who's Who" of the international fashion world. Having started his career at the young age of 22 at San Francisco's society paper, The Nob Hill Gazette, Victor has since moved on to style for publications such as PAPER, IN STYLE and the LA Times Magazine among others.
Victor has served as contributing fashion editor for SOMA as well as Singapore's Brave Magazine. He's worked with new and established Hollywood royalty (Chloe Sevigny, Christina Ricci, Eartha Kitt and Tim Burton to name a few). He has also worked on a sea of fashion stories, TV commercials and advertising campaigns. As fashion editor at Improper Bostonian magazine, he began writing about designers such as Michael Bastian and Alessandra Facchinetti. Victor is represented by Stockland Martel in New York and is the founder of LUXETIGERS. He and his two miniature pinschers now split their time between San Francisco and New York City.
Victoria Scavo

Victoria R. Scavo currently lives in the New York City area and has been working in television, publishing and Web for almost 10 years. She received her master's degree in journalism at Emerson College in Boston. In the fall of 2006 LUXETIGERS founder, Victor Vargas, hired Victoria to work as his fashion assistant at The Improper Bostonian Magazine. They became fast friends and Victoria is currently Senior Editor for LUXETIGERS.
Steve Paulovich
Senior Foodie Editor
Steve Paulovich was born and raised in New England and has spent much of his adult life working in the IT industry. A few years ago, he took a job in Silicon Valley and subsequently made the move to the San Francisco Bay Area. After several weekend trips to the Napa Valley Wine Country, his natural passion for gourmet food and wine became an obsession. When he is not visiting fine restaurants and wineries, he can be found in his kitchen attempting to recreate his favorite dishes. He has been the Foodie Editor at LUXETIGERS since February, 2010.
Sherrie Long

With a background in art and more than 25 years in the entertainment industry working both in front of the camera and behind the scenes it's no wonder Sherrie Long has spent the last 19 years of her career as a hair, makeup and effects artist with some of the top names in the business. Her specialty is print and commercial advertising, but has also contributed her talents to shows for The Discovery Channel, FOX, ABC, CBS Television, fashion shows for Donna Karan, Burberry, Armani, Nordstrom and stage performances with names like Dana Carvey and Jewel. Sherrie enjoys the challenge of creating three dimensional, clean, glowing makeups and hairstyles customized to the individual.
Jillian E. Sorgini

Jillian E. Sorgini possesses a penchant for fashion and beauty. She graduated magna cum laude from Hofstra University's honors program with degrees in print journalism and drama. While at Hofstra, she designed, assigned and edited articles as the Features Editor of The Chronicle, Hofstra's student newspaper. Jillian worked as a fashion assistant at DNR, a trade publication, when Condé Nast selected her from a large pool of applicants to participate in their summer internship program. She has been published in Beauty Launchpad magazine, where she worked with the fashion editor and wrote articles about the latest trends in the beauty industry. She also worked as a fashion assistant to Victor Vargas when he was the fashion editor at The Improper Bostonian magazine. Jillian has assisted on numerous fashion photo shoots and continues to cultivate her knowledge of the industry.
Doug White

Doug White is a third-generation resident of Napa Valley, having grown up in St. Helena. He has 20 years of experience in the restaurant business, including 10 years managing such high-end restaurants as Bistro Don Giovanni, Pinot Blanc, and Napa Valley Grille. For the last several years he has been Director of Operations and Public Relations at Vintner's Collective in Napa, a multi-winery tasting room. White is the founder of Beyond The Label, Napa Valley's exclusive winery tour service.
